Peter Hessler is the Managing Director and the Co-Owner of URT Recycling Technology, where he brings more than 30 years of experience in mechanical engineering and recycling innovation. He has led pioneering work in fridge disposal systems and lithium-ion battery recycling, advancing practical solutions for industry and sustainability.

Peter played a central role in the Volkswagen pilot plant for battery recycling, helping shape scalable technologies for resource recovery. His leadership continues to position URT at the forefront of recycling system development in Europe.
